Energy Ogre Cares About the Community
At Energy Ogre, we believe in the power of giving back and making a meaningful difference in the communities we serve. Our commitment goes beyond helping Texans save on their energy bills. We are dedicated to supporting our affiliated nonprofit partners, initiatives, and programs that uplift those in need. As a result, Energy Ogre gives 20% of our proceeds from charity-related memberships directly to the affiliated organization.
Whether it's through volunteer efforts, financial contributions, or partnerships with impactful organizations, we strive to create lasting change and contribute to a brighter, more sustainable future for all. Together, we can energize communities and empower lives.

Folds of Honor
Since 2007, Folds of Honor has carried forth a singular, noble mission. They are committed to providing educational scholarships to spouses and children of America's fallen and disabled service-members. Their motto says it best, "Honor Their Sacrifice. Educate Their Legacy."
Big Brothers Big Sisters
Since 1904, Big Brothers Big Sisters has operated under the belief that inherent in every child is incredible potential. As the nation’s largest donor and volunteer supported mentoring network, Big Brothers Big Sisters makes meaningful, monitored matches between adult volunteers (“Bigs”) and children (“Littles”), ages 5 through young adulthood in communities across the country.
Easter Seals of Greater Houston
Founded in Houston in 1947, Easter Seals of Greater Houston provides a variety of needed services to individuals of all ages with all types of disabilities and their families in the greater Houston area and surrounding counties.
Make-A-Wish®
Make-A-Wish® has been creating life-changing wish experiences for children with critical illnesses around the world since 1980. Wishes have proven physical and emotional benefits that can give children with critical illnesses a higher chance of survival.
Energy Ogre is partnered with Make-A-Wish® Texas Gulf Coast & Louisiana and Make-A-Wish® North Texas.
CRU Houston
Founded in 1951, Campus Crusade for Christ, or Cru, has been a caring community passionate about connecting people to Jesus Christ. With campus ministries in 900 locations they engage more than 36,000 students and faculty members on U.S. middle school, high school, and college campuses.
Dr. Marnie Rose Foundation
The mission of the Dr. Marnie Rose Foundation is to eradicate brain cancer through research, advocacy, and awareness; and to improve the lives of patients and caregivers. Since 2003, the organization has given more than $7 million to brain cancer research at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center and UTHealth Houston as well as pediatric initiatives at Children’s Memorial Hermann Hospital.
Cycle Houston
Cycle Houston was originally founded in 2000 as a Christmas gift giving initiative, but in 2004 became a registered charity that gifted bicycles after realizing that it was one of the most wanted gifts year round. Cycle Houston began partnering with school districts and became CYCLE in 2015 and have become committed to improving literacy among 2nd graders in Title One schools in the Greater Houston area by rewarding them with bikes.
Brothers In Arms
Brothers In Arms was formed by, and operates under the leadership of three legendary Houston quarterbacks, Andre Ware, Warren Moon and Vince Young. All three were raised by single moms that stressed the importance of education. The Brothers In Arms Foundation offers financial assistance and diversity scholarships to student athletes who like Andre, Vince and Warren, are also being raised in a single parent environment.

After fighting her way through a life-threatening illness, Yara was able to have her wish granted by Make-A-Wish North Texas.

Energy Ogre is committed to our veterans and their families. This cause is close to our hearts. We are thrilled support brave veterans and their families by partnering with Folds of Honor.
